Each of California's healthcare districts is governed by a locally elected board of directors who are directly accountable to the communities they serve.
Governance
The AVHD’s five publicly elected directors oversee the activities of the district in accordance with the district’s bylaws and state law governing healthcare districts. This board is tasked with providing organizational oversight and ensuring that the district’s mission and vision are carried out.
