Stroke Education Outreach

Antelope Valley Medical Center's stroke program, along with Medtronic hosted an educational outreach program to provide emergency medical services personnel education on the importance of time when it comes to stroke. For someone experiencing a stroke, seconds count, so it is crucial for our EMS partners (as well as everyone else) to understand what a huge difference in the well-being of the patient it can make to get to the hospital as soon as possible.
