Paul George Foundation & the Shadow Buddies Foundation

LA Clippers and AV native Paul George, teamed up with the Shadow Buddies Foundation to donate super buddies to AVMC.

AVMC was chosen by the Paul George Foundation & the Shadow Buddies Foundation, as the recipients of 100  “Super Buddies” to provide to our young patients/visitors. These Shadow Buddies are meant to bring children extra strength and courage when facing fear and uncertainty. 

Paul George, an LA Clipper and local AV resident, witnessed his mom have a stroke at 6-years old. The trauma he went through motivated him to support this program. The super buddies are intended to be given to children of parents/family members that are going through a difficult time here in the hospital.
