Our Pediatrics child life team were invited to participate in the Community Paint Day event. The event encouraged the community to connect with others, while painting and receiving information about safety and environmental preservation. We appreciate out pediatrics team for representing our hospital and providing fun activities for the community!

The AVMC volunteer team participated in the College and Career fair at the Desert Christian High School. They informed students about volunteer & healthcare career opportunities at Antelope Valley Medical Center. Thank you team for inspiring young minds to join the healthcare field.

City of Palmdale Disaster Preparedness Expo

Our Trauma team was invited to provide a quick STOP THE BLEED demonstration at the recent Disaster Preparedness Expo. The team shared information about the full course available to the community.

Career Day - Bethel Christian School

AVMC's couplet care manager was invited to share some insight about her career in nursing to the preschool class at Bethel Christian School.

These young minds got the chance to learn how moms and their babies are cared for at AVMC's Women and Infants Pavilion. They were also given the opportunity to test their skills at using a stethoscope to hear each other's heartbeat.

Women's Symposium “Count Her in!” - City of Palmdale

AVMC's stroke team, and the WIP Education and Breastfeeding Center team participated in the 3rd Annual Women's Symposium in Palmdale. This informative and inspirational event offered resources and workshops tailored to women, as well as, offering a safe space to talk about women's different life experiences.
