Antelope Valley Medical Center Launches Redesigned Website

(LANCASTER, Calif. – October 30, 2015) — Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) has unveiled a newly redesigned version of its website, www.AVMC.org. The new site features a refreshed and vibrant look, combined with enhanced content, simplified navigation and optimization for mobile devices. A key feature of the new website is a patient portal that gives patients access to their personal health information such as visit and procedure history, lab and radiology results, and allergies -- all in one secure place.

“Our goal was to create a modern web presence for the hospital that gives users easy access to the information they need when they need it,” said AVMC Chief Information Officer Dale Lepper. “The launch of the patient portal was an important component of the site overhaul. Providing patients with an easy-to-use website as well as online access to their health records is another way we are working toward improving our patients’ healthcare experiences.”

The redesigned website offers quick and easy access to essential information about hospital programs and services. The home page provides visitors with one-click access to numerous inside pages including the new patient portal, “find a doctor” physician directory, news and events, careers, giving and volunteer opportunities, and much more.
