Hospital Reaches Tentative Agreement with CNA

  • Posted On:

After many months of negotiations, Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) and the California Nurses Association (CNA) reached a tentative agreement today regarding a new contract for the hospital’s registered nurses. The CNA represents nearly 1,000 nurses at AVMC.

“It has been a long road, but we are thrilled to have been able to resolve the remaining issues and reach an agreement that allows us to continue working in partnership with our exceptional team of nurses,” said AVMC Chief Executive Officer John Rossfeld. “Finalizing this agreement benefits everyone, especially our patients.”

The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by the hospital’s registered nurses and approval of the Antelope Valley Healthcare District Board of Directors, both of which are expected to occur as soon as possible.
